The Division of Consumer and Mortgage Lending has joined the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) effective January 4, 2010.

The Division sent an IMPORTANT NOTICE to all current licensees in December 2009 with detailed information regarding the NMLS licensing process. (Click here to read.)

New companies or individuals desiring to conduct mortgage business with Kansas consumers under the Kansas Mortgage Business Act or the Kansas Uniform Consumer Credit Code should submit their application to the Division of Consumer and Mortgage Lending through the NMLS beginning January 4, 2010.
