Employee Spotlight
This quarter's Employee Spotlight is on Jill Druse, a Financial Examiner Senior in the Dodge City office of the West Region. Jill graduated from Kansas State University in 1996 with a Degree in Finance. She began her career with the OSBC in January 2001, following her three years of previous employment with Landmark National Bank, Dodge City. She has worked in some area of banking since 1992, when she began as a bank teller.
In addition to her examination duties, Jill has served on the planning committee for the OSBC Annual Conference. She enjoys all educational opportunities afforded her and has recently attended CSBS's Senior School in San Diego and the FDIC's Information Technology Examination Course in Washington D.C. She looks forward to some day attending the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colorado.
Jill has not always been a western Kansas resident. She grew up in Olathe and has also resided in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Jill has enjoyed her almost eight years living in Dodge and it has become home to herself and her husband, Rick, who is managing editor of the Dodge City Daily Globe. She says the best part of living in Western Kansas is the fact that most of their family lives in Eastern Kansas, so there are no family "pop-ins"- there is usually plenty of warning before visitors descend upon the often-dusty house! Jill is active in her local church and has become addicted to exercising. She enjoys working out at her local Curves, as well as walking. Jill and her husband are the proud parents of a cat named Tempest and two dogs named Quincy and Parker. She enjoys time with family and friends and feels as, an aunt, it is her right and her duty to dement the minds of her two nephews.
